Xenon forte d.o.o., one of the leading Slovenian providers of solutions for document management, celebrates 30 years of business. From a small organization to support and develop IT it has widen to a medium regional company specializing in document solutions. From the very beginning, Xenon forte has been a Kyocera Corporation partner. Participation in all the years evolved and today Xenon forte is Kyocera’s regional representative and development center.
The company was formed on the foundations of the knowledge, professionalism and innovative solutions in the field of information technology at a time when computing was still in its infancy with us. Founder and Director Ciril Kraševec carving out in the 1980s as an important contribution to the popularization of computer science and information technology development, he was co-founder and editor of the first computer magazine Moj mikro and a co-creator of the first computer games and programs for personal computers.
In the first years of operation, Xenon forte became renowned by providing solutions at all levels to ensure support of local trademarks. With the introduction of DTP in professional environments the company ensured cooperation with the majority of design studios and printing works, among which stands out in particular, cooperation in the formation of the first Slovenian banknotes. Xenon forte with comprehensive technical support worked with Slovenian Design Studio – Licul Kosovel.
Today Xenon forte Group manages distribution and IT products sale and services in the region, covering Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro. The main program is the distribution and sale of printers, multifunctional devices and Managed Document services from Kyocera. The company has been working with Kyocera Corporation since its establishment, the status of a national distributor acquired in 1997, in July 2002 became Kyocera’s direct partner.
In the entire group there are employed almost 50 employees. Due to celebrating the 25th annniversary Xenon forte has renewed and modernized its website and e-commerce. Business partners and end customers will be able to come to more quality information on all platforms easier as well as to the system of procurement. There is also the site of the Kyocera Document Solutions now also available in the Slovenian language.
